Professional tip.  Don’t put a back fence on. You’ll fight crowns of boards and trapped sawdust between back fence.  If your miter saw fences aren’t 90 degrees to the blade, adjust your saw, the built-in extension fence won’t correct an untrue saw.  I know from experience. Thanks

Glad I came across your channel! From a woodworker/cabinetmaker who has otherwise gotten burned out on the craft from having to make a living at it, you bring a fresh light hearted approach to each task!! if that makes sense

I enjoy your videos! I was even inspired to build a couple of simple 2×4 work tables that turned out nicely. I am now looking to build your Mitre Saw Station and adapt it for another piece of equipment. Can you estimate what the weight capacity of the top would be? I am looking to put a heat press (for making tshirts) on it. Thanks!

Now all I have to do is come up with a measuring jig for it.

The pocket holes into plywood didn’t work for me, but I used the cheaper stuff, so it is my fault there. 🙁

Hey April, I’m planning to make miter stand based on your design. Anything you would have done differently? I’ll probably add a fence so I can use stops.

April, thanks so much for what you do. I bought this project and built it in a day. Now people think I’m some kind of expert and they’re asking me to do jobs for them.
