That does look like a fun project. If I ever get a bandsaw into my shop, I’ll make a few myself. Great job.

I can relate to the sanding process…I also see it as a way to cover up my mistakes 🙂  Great job!

Great video, Nick! I saw Patrick’s video and fell in love with the project. I have zero use for them, but you better believe I’ll make some. Maybe I’ll give them out at Halloween. That’ll teach them to come to *my* house. It’ll rank up there with the toothbrush and floss they get down the street at the dental hygienist’s house.

Those look great. Love to have that walnut “laying around”

The wider scoop looks like it would be great for rice?
They turned out great, I want a set myself now 😉

Great video. If you don’t want to make a bandsaw zero clearance insert you can cut part-way into a board and clamp it to the table. I got the idea from Matthias Wandel’s website.

The wide one could be used for flour or sugar.

Stumbled on your vids through Jay Bates (sorry Jay, I don’t know how to tag). Great video, I will be making some out of scraps soon as well. You mentioned the band saw blade was hard to find. My Craftsman bandsaw is a re-labeled Rikon so Sears keeps them in stock, FYI… I haven’t found any “good” blades anywhere.

    Love the vids
